Soft-Sole Leather Sandals Pattern
When my son hit his first summer it became obvious he needed something cooler to wear on his feet than his soft-sole baby shoes. I wasn’t ready to give up on his homemade shoes so I redesigned them with cut-outs to allow air circulation and cut down on the amount of leather used. HE LOVES THEM and so will your child.
This pattern is slightly more difficult than the standard soft-sole shoe due to the additional pieces needed and the cutting with a craft type knife. Because of the slits I do not suggest trying to make this style of soft-sole shoe with fabric.

One size set of the soft-sole leather sandal from those shown below; detailed instructions with color photos of each step in the process; tips on working with leather, caring for your shoes, and acquiring free or low-cost leather for only . . . $7.50!Extra size sets are only an additional $2 each if ordered at the same time. Please note that no orders for $2 patterns will be filled if there is not an initial pattern ordered for the original $7.50 price on the same invoice.
